Message from the Hon'ble Chairman
It is a matter of honour and immense pleasure that destiny has given me an opportunity to chair the Startup Foundation, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur. The landscape of startups in India, especially startups having direct relations with academia has been undergoing revolutionary changes during the last few years. We are in an era when innovation in every field is expanding at an extraordinary rate, the same with the students of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya. During the last two years, especially during the COVID-19 era, we have observed the importance of startups and businesses for overall growth. The number of jobs being created by the startups, the number of people affected by their solutions and the core problems being solved are considered three important outputs for any startup and I am glad to learn about our in-house startups inside the campus who have been growing with our nurturing and mutual hardship. The Startup Foundation has been established with the aim to bring out more students to the front and establish successful businesses which can fuel our goal of make in India & startup India.
I wish the team, the entrepreneurs, partners, venture capitalists, angel investors and experts the very best for the future.
